LEah Lara

Leah Lara (they/them) is a Chicago-based Queer, Black, Nonbinary puppeteer and 3D illustrator. Rooted in Chicago’s experimental puppeteering scene, Lara creates original storytelling exploring the Black femme experience through fairytale and myth. A PUPPETQUEERS Co-Organizer, Lara performs, curates puppet slams, and teaches workshops across Chicago.
